Walk with Me
Walk with Me 2026
Welcome to the Journey
This isn't just a long walk—it's a chance to find your strength and connect with spirit. We'll follow the pioneer path together, supporting one another through every mile with kindness and courage.
Be Kind
Lift others up! Trek is about building a spiritual family. Use encouraging words, lend a hand with a heavy cart, and always look for someone who needs a smile.
How We Roll
Stay Pure
Keep the spirit with you. Our conduct—from our language to our music—should reflect the sacred journey we're on. Let's create a space where everyone feels the Lord's presence.
Work Hard
Pioneers did hard things, and so can you! Pulling together makes the trail easier. Be ready to help set up camp, prepare meals, and push through the dusty miles with joy.
Stay Safe, Keep Moving
Your health and spiritual focus go hand in hand. Hydration and blister prevention are our main priorities. Drink water every 20 minutes and always let your Ma or Pa know if your feet start to hurt. We are here to support you every step of the way.
Conduct and Expectations
Trek is a sacred experience. We expect all youth to follow the 'Walk with Me' philosophy—show respect to others, participate in all family activities with a positive heart, and follow the instructions of leaders for a safe and uplifting journey.
Your Daily Vibe & Trek Routine
We are so thrilled to have you join this adventure. To ensure everyone has a fulfilling experience, please seek opportunities to serve and help others constantly. You will belong to a family group of 8 to 10 people, guided by a Ma and Pa, assigned upon arrival at the site.
Rise and Shine: The Journey
Morning Devotionals
Each morning, please help your trek family strike tents and load gear into the handcarts. While walking, everyone takes turns pushing. Use this time to bond—play games and ask each other questions. Check in often for scheduled devotionals throughout the day.
Trekking Hours & Safety
Always alert your Ma or Pa at the first sign of a problem; we are not in a rush, and it is fine to stop. Please stay within camp boundaries and use trash bags for feminine products rather than porta-potties. Your health and safety are our priorities.
Evening Firesides
When we reach camp each afternoon, help your family unload the carts and set up sleeping gear. Every group will also take turns with community chores. After the work is done, enjoy firesides and reflection, ensuring you balance free time between the whole group and your family.
Quick FAQ for Teens & Parents
- How do we work together? We pull as one family. Take turns with the heavy lifting and keep an eye on your assigned chores. What if I need help? Speak up immediately to your leaders. We are here to support you through every mile of this rewarding path.
Common Questions
What should I do if I feel overwhelmed during the trek?
It's totally normal to feel tired! Lean on your Trek family, talk to your Ma and Pa, and remember we are all walking together. Take a breath, say a prayer, and know you've got a whole stake cheering you on.
Can parents visit the campsite during the week?
To maintain the pioneer experience and safety perimeter, we ask that parents stay home and support through prayer. Our dedicated leaders are on-site to ensure every teen is safe, fed, and spiritually uplifted.
What is the daily spiritual routine?
Each day starts with family prayer and a short devotional. On the trail, we share stories and quiet reflection. Evenings are for heartfelt firesides where we testify of the Savior and strengthen our bonds.
What if I don't know anyone in my assigned family?
That's the best part! Trek is designed to help you build new friendships. By the end of the first day, your handcart team will feel like real brothers and sisters. Just come with an open heart and a ready hand.
Are there clear rules about electronics?
Yes—we leave phones and tech behind to truly connect with the Spirit and each other. It’s a short break from the noise of the world to help you hear the 'still, small voice' more clearly while you walk.
