Walk with Me
Tuesday June 30 - Friday July 3
Walk with Me
“Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.” —Moses 6:34
We are thrilled you are joining our Pioneer Trek! This spiritual journey fosters lifelong bonds and a profound respect for the pioneers. Our mission is to offer a significant and joyful adventure for every participant. Who is Invited: Youth turning 14 in 2026 through 18. Graduating seniors are welcome. Location: Deseret Land and Livestock Site, Roosevelt, Utah. Dates: Tuesday June 30 - Friday July 3
Trek Kinships
During the journey, you will join a “family” of 8–10 youth, guided by supportive adult mentors acting as your Ma and Pa. Assignments are announced once you arrive at the site.
While hiking, you and your family will collaborate to move your handcart. This is a collective effort where every single participant’s contribution is vital. Please remember to:
- Connect with your new siblings. Listen to your Ma and Pa. Engage in deep conversations and stories. Maintain high spirits with games and constant encouragement for one another.
The quality of your family bond defines your trek experience, so make every moment together count!
Unity and Hard Work
Trek thrives on mutual support and selfless acts. Every unit works together to unload gear each evening and prepare the carts every single morning. Participation from everyone is mandatory.
In addition, participants will take turns with duties such as:
- Cleaning the kitchen area. Sanitizing facilities. Daily site care.
We encourage you to find ways to help those around you. These small gestures of kindness define the spirit of Trek and make the difficult miles much easier for everyone.
We are excited to embark on this journey with you
Daily Routine and Camping
Your day involves:
- A communal lunch. Finishing the trail by 4:00 PM. Open hours once the site is established.
After your family sets up your living area, you can unwind and join in on nightly festivities. These include fireside devotionals, group games, and other social gatherings at the campsite.
Even while meeting other groups, it is important that you follow these guidelines:
- Always check in with your specific family circle. Prioritize quality time together. Never wander out of sight of the leaders. Stay inside the marked perimeter of our camp.
Maintaining safety and family unity is our highest priority.
Fortify Your Soul
This trek is a spiritual pilgrimage designed to build your testimony, endurance, and heart. Come prepared to labor with joy, serve others, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
